The flat expanses, the valleys and hills are the ideal scenarios for excursions and outdoor sports: from simple walks to trekking, to amusing itineraries by bicycle or on horseback, to the discovery of the various castles.

Among the Trebbia gorges it is also possible to make exciting rafting and kayaking routes, while the ski resorts of Passo Penice and Ceci (Bobbio) have slopes and equipment for downhill and cross-country skiing.
