Born from the passion for cooking of M. Rita Trecci Gibelli , La Taverna Medievale today is beautifully managed by Chef Paola Capra.
The menu is a fusion of tradition and innovation and has a historical section that Rita Gibelli carries out personally. The menu is a la carte but also has tasting menu proposals.
Slowness is a luxury and the food is a pleasure to look forward in anticipation.
The rhythm of the banquet is dictated by the preparation time of the dishes.
Knowing how to enjoy the wait helps the anticipation of the chosen dish.

The Taverna del Castello di Gropparello (Colli Piacentini - Val d'Arda) is located in the park of the castle of the same name, surrounded by gardens of roses and olive trees . The tavern has 2 rooms on different levels, but both open to the garden level, with access without steps.
We have:
- a very bright Banquet Hall that can accommodate up to 130 ps
- a Red Room, called Medieval Tavern, more intimate, with beamed ceiling and fireplace, which can accommodate up to 70 people.
- the Gardens can accommodate up to 300 people
- 2 pavilions opening onto the gardens, which can accommodate 130 and 60 people respectively
Emilian cuisine is contaminated by influences from Lombardy, Piedmont and Liguria. We offer served or buffet menus designed ad hoc for business lunches, which can combine the journey into the flavors of local cuisine with the need for lightness.
Immersed in the gardens of the Taverna, one of the farmhouses has been used as a meeting room, equipped with a wifi audio video system, available to companies for work sessions, work shops and team building.
