Arrival in Gropparello by 10.30
Meeting with the guide and visit of the Gropparello Castle, a majestic strong fortress suspended over a wild territory, represents an example of the classic medieval fortification, placed to defend the access road to the valley.
Possibility of lunch in the castle restaurant "La Taverna Medievale".
After lunch, continue towards Grazzano Visconti, a small town defined as an “Paese Irreale nella Realtà”.
Free visit of the village do not miss the Torture Museum and the Castle of Grazzano Visconti dating back to the fourteenth century.
Dinner in a restaurant. Overnight at a structure in the village.

Departure in the morning, meeting at 9.30 at the Passo dello Zovallo, from here we embark on an adventurous excursion. From the parking lot, take the path to the left (north) for Lago Nero and after about 500 meters we find a crossroads where we turn left for Monte Nero, leaving on the right the path that goes directly to the lake. We then find a further crossroads where we take the steep path to the right this time to the summit. Once at the top, continue along the ridge and, having tackled an aided stretch, continue the descent and then go up briefly on the other side, then take the path to the right for Lago Nero, which we reach after a descent into the woods. We then skirt the lake on the left bank and continue on the path that takes us back to the initial crossroads, from which we return to the car on the route of the outward journey.
The black lake with its geological and botanical rarities is the testimony of a glacial cirque of 100 thousand years ago. And Monte Nero with the only mountain pine station in the northern Apennines. Places of smugglers and smugglers, full of stories and legends.
